It may be the norm, but paying hundreds of pounds to wear an ill-fitting outfit one time doesn't sit well with us at Scotch & Rich.
Looking phenomenal in a suit requires alterations by a tailor. Always. No exceptions.
So, when you own your suit, you have the freedom to tailor the suit to your body. I usually taper pants and make the arms tighter to prevent the boxy-look that's pervasive among typical suits.
When you rent, you are fit according to just four measurements: Chest, arm, waist and pant length. That's not enough. Not. Even. Close.
The result of a fit according to just four measurements is mediocre menswear. Sure, that's the norm. Those are the suits that you were forced to wear when you were little.
There's a better option... Buying & tailoring your suit to your body.
